| Still regarded as their finest studio record, even Pierre van der Linden calls "Focus III" as his favourite. This record marks the first appearance on a regular Focus studio album of "House of the King", which has actually nothing to do with the album, but has been added as a filler. | Het enige live album van Focus, muzikaal gezien misschien enigszins teleurstellend, opgenomen in het Rainbow Theater in Londen op 4 en 5 mei 1973. De BBC heeft tijdens de Rainbowconcerten ook video-opnamen gemaakt. De live uitvoering van "House of the King" staat niet op het album en ook werd ook niet uitgezonden door de Engelse tv, omdat Akkerman gedurende het nummer een snaar brak. | |||
| The only Focus live album, but musically a bit of a disappointment, recorded at the Rainbow Theatre, London on the 4th and 5th of May 1973. The BBC also shot some video material during the Rainbow concerts. The footage also included "House of the King", which isn't on the album or broadcasted, because Akkerman broke a guitarstring during the song. | |||

| Muzikaal gezien een van de betere Focus albums in verhouding tot Focus III. Jan Akkerman vindt nog steeds dat sommig materiaal prachtig is. De oorspronkellijke werktitel van deze elpee was "Kloten", later gevolgd door "Trend", maar na de latere toernee door de VS in 1973 veranderd als hommage aan het welbekende Amerikaanse voedsel. | |||
| A musically improved album, compared to Focus III and Jan Akkerman still likes some material on this one. The working title of this album was "Kloten", followed by "Trend". After the late-1973 US tour, the title was changed again definitely as a 'tribute' to the famous US food. | |||

| The "MOR" Focus album, recorded in Brussels and Los Angeles. In the raw mixes from these sessions, Mother Focus sounded very natural, but was later much more polished 'in the American way`. Colin Allen plays the drums on "I Need a Bathroom", for which Jan Akkerman wrote the lyrics. After the release Focus went on tour in 1975 again, with Pierre van derLinden on drums, as David Kemper was only a session musician. | |||
